The Guide is an artwork hand-burned and coloured on a wood book box by pyrography artist, Natasha Allen.
The Guide is a take on the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy guidebook featured in the novel (of the same name) by Douglas Adams. On the front are the words "Don't Panic" in large friendly letters surrounded by a stippled background with iridescent and gold stars, and a few planets. The inside flap has a quote from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams. The back features a few things reminiscent of the Hitchhiker's series. The 42, teacup, and words on the spine have interference blue painted over them, giving them an iridescent shine. The inside also has iridescent paint throughout.
A protective sealant has been applied to all sides.
Signed and year dated on the inside.
